Police have released identities of the six people killed in a crash in southern Tennessee.
Chattanooga police said the crash happened Thursday evening when a semi-truck hit eight other vehicles that were stopped due to construction.
Police said four of the victims were in one vehicle: 31-year-old Tiffany Watts and 50-year-old Sandra Anderson, both of Tennessee; along with two children, ages 10 or 11 and 8, both from California.
Another victim, 37-year-old Brian Gallaher of Tennessee, was in a different vehicle. The last victim was 36-year-old Jason Ramos, in yet another vehicle. Police listed Ramos as being from Georgia and Ohio.
Police said six other people received injuries that weren’t life-threatening, and six more were uninjured.
The wreck happened on Interstate 75 northbound near the suburb of Ooltewah.
