Publix to require face coverings in all stores beginning July 21

(WJHL) — Publix announced via Facebook on Thursday that the supermarket will begin to require face coverings at all its locations beginning on July 21.

The company said that it wants to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus by implementing the store mask rule.

In the full release, Publix included guidance from the CDC, which recommends social distancing measures along with face coverings and store capacity limitations.
