Christopher Columbus statue in Connecticut vandalized, beheaded


WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Saturday morning the Christopher Columbus Statue at Waterbury City Hall in Connecticut was vandalized. The statue’s head appears to have been removed.

Waterbury Police said they are currently investigating the ‘criminal mischief’ complaint. Anyone with information is asked to call Waterbury police at (203) 574-6941.
