BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — Police are searching for a suspect involved in an apparent road rage incident that led to shots fired in Bristol, Virginia on Sunday, according to Captain Hazlewood with the Washington County Virginia Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred on Interstate 81 and then reportedly progressed to Travelite Road in Bristol, Virginia. No injuries were reported.
According to Hazlewood, police are searching for the driver of a dark grey or green Jeep Cherokee with tinted windows, stock silver rims and a Tennessee license plate. The driver was described as “big with glasses and short, wavy hair.”
No further details were released at this time.
