Washington County, Tenn. 911: Several roads impassable

The Tennessee Department of Transportation reports several roads in Washington County are closed. Those roads include:

  • SR 353 at Hall Road (11.65 MM) closed due to flooding
  • SR 67 at Cherokee Elementary School (7.28 MM) closed due to flooding
  • SR 75 (Washington County) High Water 

Meanwhile, Washington County, Tenn. 911 Dispatch is encouraging people to drive with caution, or stay at home if possible, due to today’s flooding. 

According to dispatch, several roads in Washington County are currently flooded, including Cherokee Road, the area of Greenwood and Highway 75 near the Sulphur Springs community.  

Several other reports of flooding are currently being reported across the Tri-Cities.
