State police say one person is dead and another critically injured after a crash overnight in Wise County.
According to Virginia State Police, it happened around 8:21 p.m. Friday on Route 23 at mile-marker 48. VSP says two vehicles were involved in the crash.
No other details have been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
