State police are investigating a fatal crash that killed a cyclist Monday in Dickenson County.
Virginia State Police say it happened around 7 a.m. near Clintwood on Route 83 south of Route 632.
According to VSP, a cyclist was struck from behind by a Chevrolet pickup truck.
The cyclist, identified as 59-year-old Stewart Gay of Jackhorn, Ky., was taken to a hospital where he died.
VSP says the driver of the pickup was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
