BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — Bristol, Virginia police said two people were arrested Thursday after four dogs were rescued from a hot car.
Carolyne Amanda Hartley, 29 of Abingdon, and James Brian Hughes, 29 of Abingdon, were arrested, according to police.

Once officers found the dogs, they immediately put them in a K9 officer’s vehicle to cool off and were then transported to the animal shelter.
