An Elizabethton native will be rocking the stage in Bristol this month with some country music flare.
Daniel Grindstaff has formed a band with Tim Raybon, named Merle Monroe, and they will be releasing a new album on Pinecastle Records on June 21.
To help usher in the album, the band will hold an album release show at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol on Saturday, April 27, at 4 p.m.
Grindstaff is no slouch to the music scene, with various stints at the Grand Ol Oprey.
Other band members include Derek Deakins from Kingsport who worked with Blake Shelton. Josh Doss is also a member of the band.
