CARTER COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — One person is dead and another injured after a Monday morning crash in Carter County, THP reports.
According to a THP release, a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek was traveling north on State Route 362 (Mary Patton Highway) when it allegedly crossed the center line and struck a 2015 Ford Taurus.
The driver of the Ford, Justus Brown, 19, died as a result of the crash, according to THP. He was reportedly wearing a seatbelt during the incident.
The driver of the Subaru was injured in the crash. They were reportedly wearing a seatbelt.
THP reports that charges are pending. No further details were released.
