THP: Driver killed in single-vehicle crash in Greene County


A Greeneville man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday evening after his car crashed into a light pole, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. 

Daniel Anglin, 40, was driving around a curve on Snapps Ferry Road when his car went off the roadway and hit a culvert. The car then flipped and went airborne, striking a light pole. 

Anglin was pronounced dead at the scene. 

According to a THP crash report, he was wearing a seatbelt.
