Teenager arrested in Johnson County; accused of killing both parents in Watauga County, NC

A 17-year-old was arrested in Johnson County, TN for the death of his parents in Watauga County, NC. 

According to the Watauga County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a call on the 1100 block of Orchard Road in Deep Gap, NC around 10:30 Wednesday night. 

While on the scene, deputies found the bodies of 43-year-old Jeffrey David Borlase and 44-year-old Tanya Mae Borlase.

Their son, 17-year-old Tristan Noah Borlase, was arrested in Johnson County, TN and charged with murder. 

The investigation remains open at this time.
