TDH: 4 cases of measles now reported in Tennessee

The Tennessee Department of Health confirms there are now four cases of measles in Tennessee. 

TDH confirms the case number on their website. 

There is no exact location of where the fourth case is based 

Yesterday, TDH confirmed three cases were located in East Tennessee. No location or identities of people affected has been released by TDH.

Measles symptoms typically include:

  • High fever (may spike to more than 104° F)
  • Cough
  • Runny nose
  • Red, watery eyes
  • Rash breaks out 3-5 days after symptoms begin
