BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Sullivan County Board of Education approved a plan to build an access driveway at West Ridge High School.

Board members voted 7–0 on the proposal Thursday evening.

The project involves a driveway that would connect the school to Henry Harr Road.

The county commission will have to approve the plan. Designing the road is expected to cost $200,000.

West Ridge will open this fall with an expected enrollment of around 1,700 students.
