Vibrant colors are now fully on display in one part of downtown Erwin thanks to the work of volunteers.
Thanks to a $2,500 grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission, a large piece of street art is now on Nolichucky Avenue.
The design was created by a Unicoi County High School teacher, and dozens of volunteers spent this week putting the final touches on the artistic display.
The mural helps add some flair to the downtown region. It is near the town’s skate park and library.
