Something in the Water will open at 10 a.m. Saturday will a full line up of musical artists and other activities at the oceanfront.
Saturday’s concerts kick off at 12:40 p.m. with John-Robert. Pharrell and Friends also play Saturday night. City leaders told 10 On Your Side’s Brett Hall the schedule may be revised due to Friday’s storms.
Jay-Z is reportedly making an appearance at the festival Saturday.
Severe weather cancelled concerts Friday. Dave Matthews Band announced on Facebook Friday night the band would not be playing at the festival at all after their show was rained out Friday. The band is sorry they won’t be performing in Virginia Beach and hopes to be back next year.
As a “make-good” for Friday’s cancellation, Something in the Water organizers are refunding 33 percent of the base price for those who purchased tickets from the festival website. They say the tickets should be processed on before May 3, and will take about 7-10 days to reach your account.
