Elizabethton’s first ever tap house is expected to open next month.
Co-owner Cheri Tinney tells News Channel 11 the new downtown business is expected to open May 10 during the Evenings on Elk celebration in downtown.
The tap house was expected to open at the end of April, but Tinney says rain but the construction behind schedule.
The business will now be open and allow the sale of specialty brews in the downtown community.
“It’s for downtown revitalization, so here in Elizabethton after hours there’s really only a couple of things open downtown,” co-owner Michael Howell recently told News Channel 11. “So this is a wonderful downtown. But, there is a ton of potential for new businesses.”
