JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Perkins Restaraunt and Bakery in Johnson City will close on January 19, an employee confirmed to News Channel 11 on Monday.
The restaurant has been open for more than 30 years.
It is unclear why the location is closing.
A spokesperson for Perkins corporate says the Johnson City restaurant is an independently owned and operated franchise location, separate from corporate-owned locations.
There are Perkins restaurants in Kingsport and Bristol, Virginia.
