One person is dead after a motorcycle pulled in front a commercial truck on Highway 362 in Carter County around 5 p.m. Thursday evening.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, David Desgro, 58, of Elizabethton was driving a motorcycle when he pulled in front of a Hino model 195 commercial truck at the intersection of Gap Creek Road and Highway 362.
THP says both vehicles caught on fire as a result of the crash. Descro died from injuries sustained from the crash.
According to THP, two people were in the truck but they were unharmed.
