Virginia could see a raise in minimum wage to $15 an hour thanks to a new bill.
That’s more than double the current minimum wage at $7.25 an hour.
If signed into law, the “S-B 1200” bill would take effect July 1-st with an initial $10 raise and eventually
reach $15/hour by 20-21.
The bill is now advancing to the full senate for a vote after passing the senate commerce and labor
