A new addition for the Tennessee Highway Patrol will be patrolling the streets this weekend in Sullivan County, Tennessee.
THP rolled out what it calls “Ghost” earlier this year. The incognito vehicles allow law enforcement markings to appear almost invisible giving troopers the opportunity to keep a closer eye on drivers without being detected immediately.
A spokesperson for THP says the ghost car is assigned to different troopers throughout the district for weeks at a time.
They add the car just happened to be assigned to Sullivan County this week and that it has nothing to do with race weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.
