News Channel 11 obtained new information into the lengthy criminal history of the suspect at the center of a Scott County manhunt Wednesday.
Timothy Manuel was shot and killed by law enforcement after an hours-long manhunt.
The manhunt began when a deputy with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office tried to pull Manuel over Wednesday morning.
He refused to stop eventually firing a weapon at law enforcement before hiding in a heavily wooded area near Roberts Creek Road.
According to records obtained by News Channel 11 from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Manuel had a lengthly criminal history.
Manuel had at least 19 charges on his record, from the state of Tennessee alone, spanning from a time period of August 2017 to May 2019.
Manuel was charged with several crimes including unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and DUI.
