Misty Ezell made the switch from her career to the classroom a decade ago and says it’s more of a calling than a job.
She’s spent her entire time with the youngest of students, Kindergartners, 1st graders, and now Pre-K.
Ezell says she loves being a part of these young students life so early in the education. She teaches 18 students and says learning through play is the foundation of her philosophy. Ezell says it’s equally enjoyable to watch the proud parents as their children learn and grow during the year.
“It’s remarkable to watch the parents. There are a lot of happy tears and to watch them hit those milestones with their families — that’s part of what I love.”, said Ezell.
Congratulations to Misty Ezell. This week’s Educator of the week. Do you have an educator who you would like to nominate? Click here to fill out our form.
