Officials are offering a $2,000 reward after an inmate who escaped from Richlands prison was spotted in West Virginia yesterday.

According to a press release from the Richlands Police Department, new information led police to a positive sighting of 36-year-old Joshua Keen in the Jolo area of McDowell County in West Virginia at about 12:50 Sunday afternoon.

Police released an image of a red, mid-1990s model Ford flatbed with Virginia tags taken from a convenience store surveillance video.

Police say they believe Keen is the sole occupant of the truck, which they say they believe is a Ford F250.

Keen is wanted for several charges including aggravated sexual battery, forced sodomy and indecent liberty with a child. The Richlands Police Department said Keen escaped from the Clinch Valley Medical Center around 5 p.m. Friday while in the custody of a corrections officer.
