Minor injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Scott County Friday afternoon. 

According to Virginia State Police, the crash happened on Route 58 around 4 o’clock Friday afternoon after the bus stopped to let a child off their stop. It was carrying 5 high-school-aged children at the time of the crash, none of them were injured. 

A Toyota Tacoma, traveling directly behind the bus, stopped but a Chevrolet Silverado did not. The Silverado rear-ended the Tacoma causing the truck to crash into the rear of the school bus. 

The driver of the Tacoma was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. 

The driver of the Silverado was a minor. No further information was given.
