The man accused of killing his mother waived his extradition in Georgia and is now behind bars in Carter County, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
John Christopher Ralph was arrested at a Georgia airport Saturday, April 6.
John Ralph is accused of killing his mother, Edith Ralph, after she was found dead in her home on Reynolds Road in Elizabethton.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Edith Ralph was found with bullet wounds.
John Ralph is charged with first degree murder.
He was extradited back to Carter County Wednesday night, according to deputies. He is being held on a $1 million dollars bond.
