LEBANON, Va. (WJHL) – Lebanon’s own Josh Shoemaker is the 2019 NASCAR eSports’ champion.

Earlier this year, gaming company 74 games, NASCAR and the Race Team Alliance partnered to introduce the eNASCAR Heat Pro League.

The 14 racing teams held a draft this past spring and selected two drivers each.

Event organizers say the championship race drew in 100,000 views online.

Josh is a member of the Stewart-Hass eSports team.
