After being told she would never dance, tumble or stunt again, a Kingsport native proved doctors wrong when she secured her spot on the Tennessee Titans cheerleading squad.
Emilee Ketron suffered severe injuries when she was in a car accident back in 2014. She shattered her ankle and fractured her back and hand.
Doctors thought she would never be able to cheer again.
But now, Ketron lives in Nashville and is the newest member of the Tennessee Titans.
She told News Channel 11 she is looking forward to taking the field at Nissan Stadium this season.
“It’s a blessing. If you’re a cheerleader this is your dream job, there’s nothing past this for me. I cheered in high school and college. this is the end all be all for me as far as cheer,” said Ketron.
The Tennessee Titans 2019 season kicks off September 8. The Titans will travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns.
