Kids are invited to Legion Street Pool on Saturday for a “fishout”.
It’s the annual “Say YES to Fishing, Say NO to Drugs” fishing event.
The pool was transformed into a fishing hole Friday when hundreds of rainbow trout were dumped into the water.
Children between ages 3 and 14 may participate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, accompanied by an adult.
The event is free. Poles and bait will be provided.
The city says hundreds of prizes will be given away and volunteers will be on hand to clean fish that are caught so kids can take them home to cook.
On Sunday, the rest of the community is invited to fish for the remaining trout for a $10 per hour donation. Fishing will take place from noon to 5 p.m.
The annual event was first held in 1989.
