JCPD: Man charged after backing into person at a bus station and driving away

A man is facing assault charges after hitting another man with his car at a bus station and driving away, according to Johnson City Police. 

Witnesses told investigators that Jonathan Beck, 28, was in an argument with another man at the Greyhound Bus Station on West Market Street. 

According to witnesses, the argument became more heated and Beck put his car into reverse and backed into the man as he was unloading items from the car. Investigators said Beck then drove away. 

Johnson City Police arrested Beck and charged him with aggravated assault.
