Crews were busy Tuesday morning, responding to the scene of a fire at the Haven of Mercy Thrift Store.
The call was reported after 7 a.m. today according to Washington County dispatch.
The store is located at 218 North Broadway in Johnson City.
Haven of Mercy Ministries Pastor and CEO Grant Rockley said that as of Tuesday afternoon the thrift store appeared to be a total loss.
He said the store was one of their main sources of income.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
