Hawkins County Budget Committee moves forward with proposed budget


HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Hawkins County Budget Committee members voted Monday to move forward with county’s proposed budget.

During the meeting, members voted to take two cents from the budget to use for capital projects, including school renovations.

The motion now has to be approved by all 21 commissioners at a meeting on July 15 at 3:00 p.m.
