In just a few weeks, a new ALDI store is set to open its doors in Greene County, TN.

Representatives from ALDI say the new Tusculum store, located at 3800 E. Andrew Johnson Highway, will open on Thursday, April 26.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 8:25 a.m. on Thursday, April 26.  After the ceremony, the first 100 customers will receive a golden ticket, each containing ALDI gift cards of various amounts.

Customers will be able to tour the store, sample ALDI brand products and enter a sweepstake for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce and even receive  an eco-friendly bag (while supplies last).

ALDI touts it offers a wide variety of groceries up to 50% less than competitors.

“We know Tusculum residents are looking for a great value and quality groceries they love,” said Shaun O’Keefe, Jefferson division vice president of ALDI. “By offering quality exclusive brand products at affordable prices, ALDI is the answer to customer’s needs. Whether shoppers are looking for USDA Choice meats, organic fruits and vegetables or gluten-free options, we have them covered with an unmatched combination of great-quality products and everyday low prices.”

The new Tusculum location will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. All ALDI stores nationwide accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

ALDI says the Tusculum store is a modern design with open ceilings, natural lighting and environmentally-friendly building materials – such as recycled materials, energy-saving refrigeration and LED lighting.

The store is part of the company’s $3.4 billion investment plan to expand to 2,500 stores nationwide by the end of 2022.  It says it currently has more than 1,600 stores in 35 states, serving more than 40 million customers each month.
