Grand jury indicts two men accused of running Bluff City chop shop

A federal grand jury has indicted two men accused of running a chop shop in Bluff City. 

Investigators claim Jerry Craig and Bradley Craig stole John Deere lawn mowers, motorcycles, and several other vehicles. They say the men then changed the vehicles’ VIN numbers’ and sold the parts. 

The pair are facing 48 counts, including gun charges. 

Last year, officers found the stolen property estimated to be worth about $1 million at a home in Bluff City. 

Several law enforcement agencies were involved in the investigation.
