JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee will join local lawmakers for a “law enforcement appreciation picnic” on Thursday.

The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Gray.

State Reps. Matthew Hill (R-Jonesborough) and Micah Van Huss (R-Jonesborough) will also be in attendance.

Last week, the governor announced a new partnership with law enforcement agencies to review use-of-force and duty-to-intervene policies.
