The race didn’t start until 2PM but fans were all ready to go before noon.
From the smallest fans to the out of state, people were at the Great Colosseum early Sunday morning.
Joyke Buck and his family are from Knoxville, TN. He was excited to see some of his favorite drivers and hopes to be one when he grows up.
“I’m just excited to be here at Bristol because I’m a huge NASCAR fan and I just love racing. I just feel good for today. I hope that one of my favorite drivers wins like Ryan Blaney, Kyle Larson, and Eric Jones and all the other like Pinsky and Ross Fenway drivers.”
Lynn Bell traveled to Bristol from Texas. She’s been to the speedway once before and said the weather was not the best, poring the entire race. She said, rain or shine she’s happy to be at the Great Colosseum.
“This is the best. Really so happy to be here at Bristol. What a great track experience and just a wonderful track to watch a race. I’m ready to rock and roll baby.”
Kelly Bumpus on the other hand just traveled across the state line. She’s from Christiansburg, VA and has season passes to Bristol Motor Speedway.
“Oh. I just love Bristol Motor Speedway. It’s the greatest place to see a race. It’s just amazing. Bristol just has so much to offer for families and my daughter’s here with me. It’s a tradition that we do spring and fall.”
