ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (WJHL)- Rain may have moved the easter egg hunt indoors, but that didn’t stop dozens of families from enjoying the first annual event in Elizabethton.

Friday morning kids had the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy free inflatables, balloon animals, and hunt for Easter eggs.

The original event was scheduled to take place at the Covered Bridge Park but was moved indoors to the Recreation Center on Mill Street.

The event is scheduled to run until 1 p.m. on Friday.
