ETSU to receive large payment for playing the Volunteers in Neyland

It’s no secret that ETSU is not favored to win the Battle of East Tennessee. But Josh Smith found out that no matter the score, the Buc’s will win in other ways.  

The University of Tennessee agreed to pay ETSU $500,000 dollars to play in Neyland today. 

ETSU Athletic Director Scott Carter says the game is an, “important milestone in rebuilding the program”.
