JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) – No one was hurt when a Jonesborough home caught fire Thursday evening, according to officials.
Firefighters converged on a home on Thistledown Circle shortly after 5 p.m.
Jonesborough Fire Chief Phil Fritts says the homeowner and his wife got out of the house uninjured before firefighters arrived.
After arriving, firefighters saw flames coming from the roof and garage areas according to Fritts.
The fire chief says the home is a total loss.
Video sent to News Channel 11 shows flames shooting from the house.
Officials are working to determine the cause of the fire.
