Fire crews have been busy this morning responding to the scene of a house fire in the Fall Branch/Greeneville area.
The fire happened this morning on Jackson Lane.
United, Newmansville, Fall Branch and DeBusk Volunteer fire departments are on scene, along with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
Crews on scene tell News Channel 11 that the home was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
According to firefighters, the electric meter was hooked up and the transformer was energizd. The power company was called in to physcially pull the lines from the transformer, cutting any electricity to the home.
but that there was power to the house.
