One of the country’s leading coal suppliers based in the Tri-Cities appoints interim Co-CEO’s Thursday.
Contura Energy’s board of directors appointed Andy Eidson and Mark Manno as interim co-chief executive officers beginning May 7.
Eidson and Manno will be replacing current CEO, Kevin Crutchfield, who is resigning from the position.
Eidson currently serves as Contura’s executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Manno currently serves as the company’s executive vice president, chief administrative and legal officer and secretary.
Board chairman, Neale Trangucci, says both are dedicated to the company.
“Mark and Andy are long serving, dedicated and talented officers”, Trangucci said. “They have earned the respect and confidence of their colleagues and the board.”
The board of directors is currently searching for the company’s next CEO. No further changes to the company’s executive leadership is expected.
