CHILHOWIE, Va. (WJHL) — The Chilhowie Police Department warned the public of a six-digit phone number calling and displaying itself as the Chilhowie Police Department.
Police said the caller asks those who answer for money and warn against the scam. The department reminded the public it would never call to request money and urged those who receive a call to inform them immediately.
