Cement truck damages power pole, 7 vehicles at used car lot on Volunteer Parkway

2:30p.m. UPDATE- Officials with the Bristol, Tennessee Police department said nobody was injured when a cement truck ran off the road on Volunteer Parkway Tuesday morning.

According to police, the driver of the cement truck felt something happen with the steering when the vehicle began moving off the right side of the road.

The cement truck, which was empty at the time, hit a power pole, and then ran into several vehicles at a used car lot.

The driver of the truck was okay, and no other injuries were reported. 

While police cleared the scene at around 12:40p.m., we’re told power crews were still working to fix that power pole that was damaged in the crash.

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL)- Traffic is down to one lane on the 1800 block of Volunteer Parkway after a vehicle reportedly drove into a used car lot, hitting several cars.

Dispatchers in Bristol told News Channel 11 that traffic is down to one lane in that area. 

There were no injuries reported in that crash.
