Carter County and Elizabethton joint drug investigation lands 7 in jail

A joint drug investigation between the Carter County Sheriff’s Office and the Elizabethton Police Department landed 7 people in jail Thursday.

Investigators found methamphetamine and several prescription pills inside a home on Bill Nave Loop while executing a search warrant, according to a release. 

Seven people were inside the home at the time, all seven were arrested are being held in the Carter County Jail. 

Here is a list of the suspects and their charges:

  1.  Jared Ray Carrier (age 28) – [Warrant] Failure to Appear, Original Charge Driving on Suspended, $10,000 bond

    Keith Lynn Fortner (age 55) – Schedule II Drug Violations, Schedule III Drug Violations, Schedule IV Drug Violations, Manufacture, Delivery, Sale, or Possession of Methamphetamine, Paraphernalia Possession, Maintaining a Dwelling Where Narcotics Are Sold, $50,000 bond

    Tonya Marann Goulds (age 40) – [Warrant] Failure to Appear, Original Charge Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia Possession, $25,000 bond

    Clarence David Lunceford (age 53) – Schedule II Drug Violations, Paraphernalia Possession, Maintaining a Dwelling Where Narcotics Are Sold, $16,000 bond

    Jeffery Lee Lunceford (age 49) – Schedule VI Drug Violations, Paraphernalia Possession, Maintaining a Dwelling Where Narcotics Are Sold, $16,000 bond

    Sharla Dawn Morgan (age 42) – Paraphernalia Possession, Manufacture, Delivery, Sale, or Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Dwelling Where Narcotics Are Sold, $30,000 bond

    Mary Elizabeth Woods (age 31) – Schedule V Drug Violations, Paraphernalia Possession, $5,000 bond
