WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL)- Officials with Alo Tennessee, INC., told News Channel 11 that the company’s contract is expiring at the end of the year.

Director of HR, Jim Soggs, said the company is looking at “every option” moving forward and that no plans have been made for the future of the manufacturing plant.

According to Alo’s website, the Swedish-based company opened the Telford plant in 2009. The company announced earlier this year that it was opening a production facility in China.

The company says it employs 700 people worldwide.

Washington County, Tennessee Mayor Joe Grandy said they have reached out to the company but so far have had little response. “We hope they will stay, and if there’s anything we can do to help them stay, we’ll do it.”
