$40,000 lottery ticket sold at Johnson City Kroger

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — According to a release from the Tennessee Lottery, Wednesday night’s “Lotto America” drawing led to one lucky Tri-Cities person winning $40,000.

The lottery ticket was purchased at Kroger on Sunset Drive in Johnson City.

The player used the game’s multiplier feature to increase the prize.

In Franklin, Tennessee, a $150,000 “Powerball” ticket was also purchased.

No additional information is available until the prize is claimed.
