4 indicted in 2017 murder of pregnant Johnson City mother

JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) – Nearly a year after a young mother was found shot to death in a Johnson City parking lot, four people have been indicted in the case.

Rebekah Thompson, also known as Stacy McGee, was found shot to death in July 2017 in her car, which was parked in a Johnson City public housing complex parking lot off John Exum Parkway.

Indictments on four people were handed down Monday and Tuesday, following a 10-month investigation. Those men charged in the death of Thompson are Isiaha Devon Milligan, 24, 1609 Orleans St.; Avios Alexander Griffin, 24, 1817 Fieldcrest Circle, Apt. 8; Monte Lamar Brewer Jr., 27, Cleveland, Tenn.; and Eugene Aireese Glover, 31, Chattanooga, Tenn.

All men face first-degree murder charges, and all were being held on $500,000 bond.

Thompson was pregnant when she was killed and her infant daughter was in the backseat of the car.

The investigation into the case remains ongoing.
