Lee County man accused of stabbing neighbor in face

LEE COUNTY, VA (WJHL) – A Lee County, VA, man was charged with two felonies Sunday, accused of stabbing his neighbor in the face.

Williams Hobbs was charged with malicious wounding and violation of an order of protection while in possession of a weapon, according to Lee County Sheriff Gary Parsons.

Parsons said the stabbing happened on Shavers Ford Road, near Jonesville, Sunday. Hobbs was already facing a charge related to an earlier assault on his neighbor when the stabbing occurred, according to Parsons.

The victim was flown to Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. Parson said he was recovering.

Hobbs was being held without bond in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Duffield, VA.

Parsons said the investigation was ongoing.
