KPD searching for McDonald’s auto burglary suspects


KINGSPORT, TN (WJHL) – Kingsport Police Department officers are currently searching for a man and woman suspected of auto burglary in the parking lot of McDonald’s on Lynn Garden Drive on June 1.

According to a KPD news release, the pair entered an unlocked vehicle in the parking of McDonald’s around 10 p.m., rummaged through the vehicle and took the faceplate from the stereo, as well as loose change.

The suspects were seen traveling in a black 4-door sedan and the male suspect was captured on surveillance video.
