JCPD: Man to face charges of selling crack cocaine

JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) – Johnson City Police Department officers arrested a man after he was found in possession of crack cocaine.

According to a JCPD news release, investigators served an arrest warrant on Willie Caffey, 57, for selling a schedule II drug — crack cocaine — and selling a schedule III drug — suboxone.

Police said Caffey was found with a felony amount of crack cocaine and was charged with an additional count of schedule II for resale of crack cocaine.

Caffey was arrested and taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was being held on $51,000 bond.

He was set for arraignment in Sessions Court Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.Copyright 2016 WJHL. All rights reserved.
